What Do 21st Century Physicists Say About Our Cosmological Origins?–William H.G. Norman

May 18, 2023 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Numerous prize-winning discoveries in just this century have thrown new light upon the question of how our universe came to exist, where it is going, and the basic rules which govern it all. Before the turn of this century, for example, 95% of our universe was quite literally missing and we did not even know it was missing. In the development of this new information, both Italians and Californians have enjoyed critical roles, and our speaker Bill Norman will discuss what they consider to be breakthrough insights as well as the teaching points they seem to offer for bettering our experience of living on this earth.

Cosmology, the science of the origin and development of the universe, has been a passion of Bill Norman for over forty years. He has written many articles on the subject and is in the process of publishing a book late this year. As a trial lawyer whose job it has been to take complex scientific information and explain it in simple terms to laypeople on a jury, Bill has placed many technical experts on the witness stand, including Il Cenacolo’s chairman for this month, Dr. Barry Goodfield, with whom he has subsequently co-authored numerous articles for publication including one on the role of the unconscious in dispute resolution.

Bill has deep Italian roots and is presently a partner at the San Francisco office of the international law firm Womble Bond Dickenson.
