My Name is Pete and I Am an Italophile: One Guy’s Lifetime Journey

Pete Sherwood is one of those Cenacolisti whose name does not end in a vowel, and whose nonna never made gnocchi or celebrated Natale. Nevertheless, he is enthralled by Italia, Italiani and all things emanating from “The Old Country,” although not necessarily his family’s old country! His presentation will explain how he came by this life-changing affliction and how it has affected his perspective on the world and played out in his life.

Pete Sherwood has been a Cenacolista since the turn of the millennium. He worked with Man of the Year Dave Lombardi as a mediator at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco for many years. He has traveled in Italy extensively this century and the last.
