January 26, 2011: Ruth Nott and Caroline Altman
On the last Thursday of January we will be privileged to meet both Ruth Nott, Director of Education at the San Francisco Opera and Carolyn Altman, the Director of Education for the San Francisco Opera Guild and the founder of the San Francisco Opera Guild Youth Conservatory. These speakers will reveal to us the workings of the Opera Company's efforts at educating the youth of this City, as well as communicating the benefits of classical opera to our citizens. Both of these women have devoted their lives to spreading the benefits and appreciation of music to the Bay Area's young adults. We expect them to make a presentation that will give the Cenacolisti present a greater understanding of and appreciation for our Opera Company.
