Dick Keith is the Commander of the Commandery of St. Francis, Order of  St. John, Knights  Hospitaller. He will talk to us about the work of the Knights Hospitaller and their dedication in support of our wounded veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. During WWII Dick served with the 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific. Over a seventeen-month period he was in three campaigns:New Guinea, Leyte and Luzon (Manila) Philippine Islands. His unit, the 511th Parachute Infantry  Regiment, was the first combat unit to arrive in Japan, arriving by air, two days before the peace treaty was signed. He reports that ten yen would get him a canteen cup of Saki in the Ginza.

Currently, Dick is a Major General in the Army Reserve and a member of many military  organizations. He is an accomplished pilot, owning dozens of aircraft including a Russian MIG. He had a very successful career as a manufacturer and marketer of Men's Sportswear, owning and leasing factories in Asia and employing 2,700  people.
