T.J. spoke at Cenacolo in February 2010 about his book The First Tycoon: Vanderbilt, for which he was later rewarded with the PULITZER! It is a superbly written history of not only the life of this Titan and "initiator" of our modern US Corporate world, but an amazing account of the times, circumstances and politics of his era and how he influenced it. He is currently writing a book on GENERAL CUSTER, but not along the lines we think we all know about his famous last stand. I expect to be as spellbound with the new work as I was with Tycoon. T.J. is a resident of San Francisco and has become an "Italophile" and candidate for Il Cenacolo membership.
