The 2010 recipient of the Renzo Turco Award is Beth Coggeshall, a graduate student in the French and Italian Studies program at Stanford. Ms. Coggeshall is a graduate of Notre Dame and is now beginning her dissertation on the subject of friendship in medieval and early modern Italian literature. She plans to return to Rome in the fall of 2010 to continue her research and write her dissertation.
Professor Robert Harrison, Dean of the Stanford French and Italian Studies Department, will introduce Ms. Coggeshall.
