The eve of Good Friday is a good occasion to take a close look at Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper." What was the context in which it was made? What is its visual power, and why is it the most famous among the many versions of this subject? What is the symbolism of the painting and does it support or refute the claims of The Da Vinci Code? These are some of the questions we will explore in this illustrated presentation, along with the results of the recent restoration of the painting.
